Lise Deharme (French, 1898 - 1980) was a novelist and socialite who was married to radio mogul Paul Deharme. She published several books and was close friends with André Breton. She was involved with Man Ray’s failed 1935 film, shot at the Château de Montfleury in Monfort-en-Chalosse, a villa in southwestern France owned by Deharme. The film was never completed but the stills, showing actors such as Deharme in costume, were published and memorialized in Cahiers d’Art a few months later.
